Control arms and bushing are done, now the damned DSC and parking brakes lights are stuck on, which the internet tells me means it's a wheel speed sensor, or DSC module, or low brake fluid, or steering angle sensor, or the earth's magnetic field, or anything else...

Fuck.

Nah, you just need more blinker fluid.

Blinker fluid levels are fine, and I just greased the muffler bearings.

Likely you just left a sensor disconnected. Those cars are not, how do we say, clear on their issues all the time. Check the wheel speed sensor connections. I'd bet that's what's wrong.

Then some blinker fluid mustve got on one of the electrical gremlins. If you get them wet, They'll just multiply

Maybe he didn't have enough elbow grease while doing the job. Something might be seizing.

The wheel speed sensors bolt on, and I didn't remove any. I could have kinked a wire I suppose. The steering angle is way off, I'll see if my alignment later corrects the issue.

Ah, well, then I have no idea. Are you near Dayton, OH? Otherwise, I can't look at it.

I'm usually leaving oil spots around Baltimore, MD. I'm having new tires put on it tonight and hopefully an alignment to center the steering back up. I'll disconnect the battery for 15m after that to see if that fixes my light issues. If not, I'll take it to the dealer and have them tell me what's wrong with it.

Had the same thing on my 550. It was the steering angle sensor. That was the last straw, with that car. $1600, none covered by warranty.

I'm thinking it's just thrown-off because the new control arms "fixed" my alignment that was previously set to the bad control arms. We'll see what happens after I get an alignment and new tires.

Except the BMW parts cannon is plated in gold and takes platinum rounds.

Of course you have to suffer by living in MD. =0)

I lived in VA and DC for many years, worked in MD a lot. It's a different world up there.

MD is interesting, but I like it. Now if only I could afford to live in Davidsonville...
